There are a variety of youth specific programs from WAHA

• Youth Achievement Awards: Low cost program for youth. Earn cumulative awards for showing an Arabian or Half-Arabian Horse or by earning points by volunteering, attending clinics, or other learning and leadership opportunities
• Youth Team Tournament: A Judging team opportunity from the Arabian Horse Association
• Other opportunities available from AHYA which is the Arabian Horse Youth Association

WAHA has some specific awards programs available for its associate and full members 

• Points Program: A program to enroll an Arabian or Half-Arabian Horse in annually. Earn points by trail riding, endurance rides, or by showing in open or breed shows and have the chance to receive awards at the annual awards meeting held each January 
• WAHA Legion of Merit or Supreme Legion of Merit Program: Horses enrolled in the points program can add on enrollment into the LOM or SLOM. This program earns cumulative points for the horse and upon the horse earning 1,000 points, they will receive a wonderful bronze from noted artist Jonathan Mueller.

Committees are groups of like-minded members that want to meet to create and plan events for the club. All members are welcome to be part of the committees or to form a new committee. Committees report back to the board of directors (BOD) on their planning and proposed activities.

Currently existing committees include:

• Open Show Committee: oversees open/all-breed shows
• Show Committee: oversees the AHA rated shows and continues to evaluate opportunity for facility or event growth
  
  

WAHA strives to be involved and plan several events a year. Depending on the year, trail rides, clinics, and horse shows are offered.
